The Shadow Integrator v3 App ("App") is designed for psychological self-reflection based on C.G. Jung's shadow work concepts. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and process your data exclusively in accordance with legal regulations (GDPR, BDSG, TMG).
You can use the App without providing personal data. Technical access data is collected:

Your shadow aspects, reflections, and progress are stored in your personal account and are only visible to you.
The App is hosted on Google Firebase (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Firebase is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We use Firebase Authentication for user authentication and Cloud Firestore for data storage.

For premium features, we use Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland). When making a purchase, your payment data is transmitted directly to Stripe for processing. We do not receive credit card or bank account details.

The App uses AI technology (OpenAI) to generate reflection scenarios. No personal data is transmitted to OpenAI. Requests are made server-side and anonymously.
This App uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyze app usage. Google Analytics is only activated with your explicit consent (opt-in on first launch).
When you consent, the following data is collected:
IP Anonymization: Your IP address is anonymized before being transmitted to Google.
Withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent at any time in the app settings. Previously collected data will not be retroactively deleted, but no further data will be collected.

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized access:
Your data is stored as long as your account exists.
Option 1 – Delete Account (in the App):
Settings → Delete Account. This will delete all server-side stored data (email, progress, purchase history).
Option 2 – Via Email:
Send an email to werner-productions-media(at)protonmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion" and your registered email address.
Local Data:
Your reflections are stored locally on your device. You can delete these at any time within the app or by uninstalling the app.
After deletion, all personal data will be irreversibly removed within 30 days, unless legal retention requirements apply.
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy as needed to reflect changes in legal requirements or the App. The current version is always available at /privacy.
Shadow Integrator v3 was developed with the goal of meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines are considered the international standard for accessible digital applications.
This application largely conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
